A flexible inorganic refractory thin sheet made from aluminum silicate ceramic fiber (aluminosilicate) as the raw material, processed through wet slurry preparation, slag removal, long-form web forming, and drying. It is asbestos-free and serves as a high-temperature specialized thermal insulation and sealing material.
Production process: Fiber pulping → Multi-stage defurring → Paper forming → Dehydration and drying → Cutting and winding, categorized into organic adhesive type (excellent toughness at room temperature, binder loss above 400°C) and pure inorganic type (no volatilization throughout the process, suitable for food/clean high-temperature environments).

四、Difference between two common categories

  1. Organic bonding fiber paper (universal)
    Strong toughness and high tensile strength at room temperature, organic glue evaporates a small amount of white smoke at 400 ℃, with no residual harmful substances; Industrial sealing and insulation are universal, with the highest cost-effectiveness.
  2. Pure inorganic fiber paper (clean version)
    No organic binder, high temperature throughout the process without any odor or volatilization; Food baking equipment, laboratories, and clean high-temperature equipment are specialized and priced higher.

五、Precautions for use

  1. It is recommended to wear dust masks and gloves during cutting and construction to avoid inhaling ultrafine fibers; Ventilation operation.
  2. There will be slight smoke when the temperature is initially raised to 400-600 ℃, which is due to the normal volatilization of the adhesive. There is no release after the temperature is raised.
  3. Long term use temperature should not exceed the rated working temperature of the model, otherwise shrinkage will increase and pulverization damage will occur.
  4. Do not use in environments with concentrated alkali or hydrofluoric acid, as it can corrode fibers and cause failure.
