Description
Physical properties:
1. Excellent thermal insulation
According to physical principles, gases have low thermal conductivity. Good thermal insulation materials all contain numerous tiny air pores. The smaller the air pores, the lower the convective heat transfer of air, making them closer to a vacuum state. Our company's fiberglass wool features countless tiny pores and irregularly arranged fibers, making it an excellent thermal insulation material with a thermal conductivity coefficient between 0.02-0.04 W/m·K.
2. It won't burn
Glass fiber wool is primarily composed of silicate compounds, featuring non-flammability, high temperature resistance, and odorlessness.
3. Good sound absorption rate
When sound waves penetrate into fiberglass wool, their energy is largely absorbed due to friction with the fibers and pores of varying sizes. Generally speaking, the sound absorption rate can reach over 90%, making it an excellent material for noise prevention and reduction.
4. High insulation
Glass fiber is resistant to high temperatures, chemically stable, and non-conductive, making it an excellent electrical insulating material. Its dielectric constant ranges from 6.1 to 6.5, and its volume impedance coefficient is between 1000 and 2000 Ωcm
5. Corrosion resistance
Glass fiber is non-absorbent, corrosion-resistant, non-mildew, and stable in performance.
