Main drawbacks

  • Price higher than ordinary BOPP tape

五、Buying Guide

  1. Select based on the operating temperature
    • ≤ 80 ℃: water-based acrylic adhesive system (low cost)
    • 80 ℃~120 ℃: Oil based acrylic adhesive system (with good comprehensive performance)
    • 120℃~204℃:Silicone adhesive system (high temperature resistant and residue free)
    • 204℃:Suggest choosing PI polyimide tape
  2. Select based on the surface of the adhered object
    • Smooth high surface energy materials (glass, metal, PC, ABS): medium low viscosity is sufficient
    • Rough surface (wood, stone, fabric): high viscosity or rubber based
    • Low surface energy materials (PP, PE, PTFE): require specialized primer or special adhesive system
  3. Select based on functional requirements
    • Insulation: Choose insulated PET tape and pay attention to breakdown voltage indicators
    • Anti static: Choose products with surface resistance of 10 ^ 6~10 ^ 11 Ω

六、Precautions for use and storage

Key points of use

  • The surface of the adhered object must be clean and dry, free from oil stains, dust, and moisture
  • Apply uniform pressure during pasting (it is recommended to use a scraper or roller) to ensure that the adhesive layer is in full contact with the object being pasted
  • The optimal pasting temperature is 15 ℃~35 ℃, avoid construction in environments below 10 ℃
  • After high-temperature application, it is recommended to remove the tape before it cools to room temperature to achieve the best residue free effect
  • For important applications, it is recommended to conduct small-scale testing first

Storage conditions

  • Store in a cool and dry place at a temperature of 15 ℃~25 ℃ and a relative humidity of 40%~60%
  • Avoid direct sunlight and high temperature heat sources
  • The original packaging is sealed and stored, with a shelf life of generally 6-12 months
  • When storing, it should be placed vertically to avoid deformation of the tape under pressure
