Acrylic foam tape is a high-strength double-sided tape with closed cell acrylic foam as the core and double-sided coated with acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is characterized by strong adhesion, cushioning sealing, weather resistance and durability, and can replace screws/rivets/welding. Structure: Release film (red film/white film)+acrylic adhesive layer+acrylic foam core+acrylic adhesive layer+release film.
Temperature resistance: Long term -20 ℃~100 ℃, short-term can reach 120 ℃~160 ℃.
Core Features
High strength bonding: initial bonding/adhesion/shear force balance, metal, glass, plastic, wood, low surface energy materials (such as PP/PE) can all be bonded, with strength close to riveting/welding.
Buffer and shock absorption: The foam has good elasticity, absorbs impact and vibration, compensates for small tolerances, and fits curved and uneven surfaces.
Sealed and Waterproof: The closed cell structure is moisture-proof and dustproof, resistant to aging, UV, and chemicals, and stable for long-term outdoor use.
Clean and beautiful: no holes or welding, no traces of adhesion, enhancing the freedom of appearance and design.
Anti plasticizer: Suitable for ABS/PVC and other plastics, preventing migration and delamination.
Key points of use
The surface is clean and dry, free of oil, wax, and dust. If necessary, wipe it with isopropanol.
Paste at room temperature (20 ℃~25 ℃), apply pressure of 0.5~1MPa (about 5~10kg/cm ²) and maintain for 5~10 seconds, reaching the optimal strength within 24 hours.
Low surface energy/difficult to stick surfaces suggest primer treatment.
