一、core performance

  1. High-temperature resistant flame retardant
    Long term use temperature of 500 ℃, short-term tolerance to high temperatures above 1000 ℃; High temperature, no melting, no dripping, and no release of flammable smoke, effectively blocking the heat conduction of battery cell thermal runaway and suppressing chain heat diffusion.
  2. High voltage insulation performance
    High breakdown strength, resistant to DC high voltage creepage, isolates metal live parts, prevents short circuit of positive and negative copper bars, leakage of battery cell shells, high voltage arc ignition, suitable for 48V low voltage and 192-800V high voltage energy storage systems.
  3. Corrosion and aging resistance
    Resistant to electrolyte, acid and alkali, high and low temperature cycling, long-term use without powdering, deformation, and insulation performance degradation, with a service life that matches the energy storage system.
  4. Mechanical rigidity protection
    The surface is dense and hard, which can prevent the discharge of high-temperature slag from the battery cell, isolate sharp metal edges, and protect circuit boards and plastic shells from high-temperature burns.

二、Common specification classification

  1. Thin mica gasket 0.1~0.5mm
    Soft and customizable, used for cell interlayer, BMU board and copper bar isolation, water-cooled board cell insulation liner.
  2. Hard mica board 1.0~3.0mm
    Rigid support, used as module end fireproof partition, main partition between battery compartment and electrical control compartment, BDU box lining fireproof barrier.

三、Main application locations of energy storage cabinets

1、High temperature resistant, flame-retardant, and heat-insulating (core for thermal runaway protection)

  1. Insulation barriers are installed between battery cells and on the end faces of PACK modules to block high temperature conduction and prevent chain fires when a single battery cell loses control of heat;
  2. A fireproof partition is installed between the battery compartment and the PCS control compartment to prevent flames and high-temperature smoke from entering the electrical area;
  3. High voltage fuses and contactors are insulated at the bottom to prevent the plastic casing from melting at high temperatures.

2、High voltage electrical insulation (essential for energy storage high voltage safety)

High breakdown voltage, excellent creepage resistance, suitable for household high-voltage energy storage and commercial 400~800V DC systems:
  1. Isolate the positive and negative poles of the busbar to prevent short circuits, arcing, and fires caused by overlapping copper bars;
  2. Separate high-voltage copper bars from BMU circuit boards and sheet metal cabinets to avoid electrical leakage and high-voltage breakdown;
  3. Mica is placed between the water-cooled plate and the aluminum shell of the battery cell to prevent grounding leakage of the battery cell shell through the liquid cooling system.

3、Fire and smoke blocking, blocking thermal diffusion channels

When thermal runaway produces high-temperature slag and combustible smoke, the Miyun motherboard can:
  1. Prevent high-temperature slag from spraying and igniting surrounding materials;
  2. Cooperate with sealing auxiliary materials to block the partition holes and eliminate insulation short boards (barrel effect).

4、Mechanical protection+anti-aging

  1. High hardness, can isolate sharp metal edges of battery cells to prevent scratching the insulation layer;
  2. Resistant to electrolyte corrosion, high and low temperature cycling, long-term use without aging or powdering, with a service life far exceeding that of plastic insulation components.
